Breast tumor may be removed (after gynecological consultation) in such a manner that unpleasant scars do not appear; this is done by appropriate placing of the surgical incisions. The tissue is treated most gently using plastic surgery preparation and suture techniques. Often a simultaneous filling of a resulting tissue defect is required. Herby some tissue in the neighborhood of the defect is prepared and shifted in such a way, that the breast regains a smooth surface. If needed, also an autologous (own) fat transplantation is possible.
